Well, today I took my Butterscotch to a mobile vaccination group thing to get his rabies shots and a heartworm check-up, and he was a good boy for me! ^_^ Well....in the beginning we had a few complications because this woman near us had so little collie breed who, for some reason, barked at my husky. Well, Scotch barked back and was acting like he wanted to go over to the collie, but I managed to keep him in place albeit his loud whimpers and whines because he couldn't play with the other dogs (and my hands were red from holding his leash tightly). Thank goodness I got my dad to put on that GentleLeader to keep my dog in line, but I was kinda upset because Scotch's fur got all over the floor due to some major shedding. Tomorrow I intend to give him a bath (which he hates; has a distaste for water...XD) and groom him with the FOUR (yes, four) brushes I have...One for his under coat, one is a horse comb with a circular shape and small, sharp teeth on it to get some of the under coat, but mostly the top, and two other horse combs just smooth out his coat.
Anyways, sidetracking again, sorry...But things got crazy when a MASSIVE GREAT DANE PAIR came into the PetsMart! 0.0 He was HUGE!!! He reached his owner's CHEST!! I know they're big, but woah doggy! The Great Dane was cool, and calm but that lady's collie barked and spooked him, and by gawd that dog jumped like a startled horse and the other dogs got spooked, too. Even my dog got spooked. But it doesn't end there! The Great Dane was behind us and my dad gave me back the leash once he fixed it some and I didn't see the massive guy behind me. Dad warned to hold on tight to Scotch and I asked why and found my answer looking at my dog intently. _gulp_
Then, I forget why, but the Great Dane barked at Scotch and started jerking at his lead nearly pull his buddy with him, scaring me a little, but I held a firm grip on my leash and got Scotch to settle down after a firm jerk and some words in a deep tone. But we eventually got the shots we came for and I'm so proud that my little pup didn't jump or complain when he got his shot.
But my dad teased him saying he did better than his owner...Which in paper work and all he is. XD I HATE NEEDLES! But I'm not as bad as my dad implies!
So as we're about to leave and pay for the bill my dad jokes about selling Scotch and I reply with: "No way! We're like Siamese twins gone wrong! You can't do that! Tell him Butters!" The lady just laughed at me...
I also found out that my dog is still very young...I've only had him for a few years, but I met a Siberian husky owner inside that told me that he was still young because he was so small. I was a little surprised...
Also, I plan on posting some new pictures of Bitterscotch soon since he's grown up a little and his coat is slightly different. ^_^
Got to see 10,000 BC today....Not sure what I can say about it...It was different than what I thought it was....But tomorrow I'm gettin my dad's friend to watch D.N. Angel with me.
